A slight correction here, some furries do think that they are animals, or pretend that they are; some more than others, as for instance fursona; the anthropomorphic version of one. I'm not saying all furries fall into this category, even though it seems to me that alot of artists happen to have a fursona like me and just happens to question it a bit rather to the fact that, is it who I was born to feel or was it a choice, more like being born to be gay where both the hemispheres of the brain are the same size like a women. We happen to be a small percentile of the population and as far as abnormality goes or being struck by a high IQ, you might consider these people freaks in a mediocrity sense because that's how society runs. We know that's a wrong way to think and it's difficult to argue with majority, and majority rules; luckily this isn't a concept that is frowned upon in most countries as even some governments in other ones ban the existence of all furry sites. We can take pride in knowing that this value isn't something that's obsolete, which exposes the humiliation of the human mind for face value in that we aren’t cowards. So make the best of your affiliation with me, and take in those big round eyes; let the nurturing nature take over; here are the details –Fur on my friends-
There isn't a point in arguing this further. People will always hate, judge, discriminate against furries, or anyone else who is different for that matter. People always look for flaws, or differences, and pursecute them to the fullest extent. For some it's amusing to throw insults to spark an arguement, others simply enjoy hurting other people to alleviate issues in their personal life. I myself am a furry, I associate with others in the furry community, and I would have to agree with the fact that alot of furs are kind and understanding. The reason, I think, is the fact that they are discriminated against for something they are. Whether it be sexual prefence, religion, or fandoms, society cannot move forward until it learns tolerance.
what is with all this furries=freaks stuff? being a lesbian, i realised, quite quickly infact, that it's not fair for me to judge anyone. i've been judged practically all my life and so i try not to judge people unless i've spoken to them. pansexuals, bisexuals, homosexuals, transexuals, furries, straight people, everyone. whatever you are, it doesn't matter as long as what you do and what you beleive does not hurt anyone.
i would like to know more about furries if anyone who doesn't hate them could tell me because this didn't explain much and i've never heard of them before =]
x♥x
Am I the only one that doesnt understand this concept....? I'm afraid I didnt bother to finish read the entire article either.
furries?
lmao. Aw man, I love young people
Okay, one of my best friends is into furries. When he first showed me I was completely squicked, totally grossed out. But I never judge him by it. It's not something I would choose for myself to get into but I don't mind those who like it. It's just their "thing."
Sara, I am a furry, and I will admit that openly and I do not have a problem with most people. You and others like you, I do. We are not all "freaks" we have our fair share of "freaks" but so do humans. I play Second Life(SL) and I am a furry there, so I naturally communicate mainly with other furries. The majority of whom I have met are friendly and nice company. I have met more humans on SL that are assholes than furs. Yes, furries being more friendly are also naturally more curious about others, more willing to experiment and a little more "touchy-feely" you could say. So, brand us all as freaks if you want to, but you will not be spoken to by any of us and may be dealt with, our community is very large.
I, in personal experience, find furs nicer people to be with. so I have two words for you about your attitude towards us...
"STICK IT!"
