Once you have a child, they should be your pride and joy.

Reading that I couldn't stop thinking of my little brother.

This is a very good article. It almost reduced me to tears. Having helped my mother raise my sister, it makes me sick to think that somebody can do this to a child. I just wanted to jump in there and kidnap him the whole time while reading this.

People should have to take tests in order to become parents.

What the eff? I find it absolutely ridiculos when I read that the mother was still able to keep the child over the SIXTY visits from social workers. Someone should have done something.

And as for ther lover, he should get himself a new heart.

I'm so pissed right now, I'd rather not hurl vulgarities online -_- All I can say is, I hope both mother and lover would get their just-deserts.

To be honest here, which might sound mean, the mother should have never been allowed to keep the child that long. As a human being, having read the article, it is sad to hear that the child was treated so badly, but like previously mentioned there is no reason why Baby P suffered so long. Someone should have known, some doctor, some social worker should have been able to report the problem.
