Thanks a bunch, hopefully kids will be more taken care of this in this world. The problem is more about care than presents I feel. Like emphasis on care and love might make the material present seem less significant and necessary you know?

Thank you! I heard a piece on the radio a while ago, they were doing a drive for Toys for Tots and that's where I was inspired by. It's sad that there's kids out there that *do* celebrate, but they won't get presents this year because their parents can't afford it.
Hmm. A present for a 12 year old boy? Legos seem like a good idea, my boyfriend's 17 and he still likes them. They're just super pricey. I've never met a pre-teen/teen boy that doesn't like Nerf guns, my brother is 13 and I'm getting him video games this year. But that's just my ideas based on the boys in my life. What is he like? maybe a description could help, haha =3

That's a nice article, it reminds me though that not everyone celebrates Christmas. I don't even celebrate, but I got my own holidays so I was fine when I was a kid (Plus I never had to deal with the whole Santa lie :P So I feel extremely happy about that.). This year I'm actually buying a family member who does celebrate a present, so that's kind of funny that you said just give one present. ;) I'm already working on it. Any ideas, he's 12, what do 12 year olds like?
