Wooow, good for him. At least he has a good career in the future. Why get banned for being the best you can be?

Not cool! The kid has talent. We're allways taught thats it's good to excel and just because some lower rank players can't handle him, he has to be banned? Bull.

    It's not normal.
People flip out when thing's don't go according to plan.
In order to have control, they had to be rid of him.
People teach us to be the best we can, but if we become better then the authority wants we're pushed down lower then we ever were.
So, there's a little boy who wants to play ball, who can play ball, but other people don't want him to play ball because it makes other little boys loose hope. If he moves up a team, it makes the older boys loose hope.
It's a sad story, and it should be fixed, but it probably won't be. It happens all the time; it will happen again.

i think Dead Guardian Angel has a point on the whole "what if they miss" thing, but still, they ban him from all of little league for being extremely talented at a sport he loves? why not just put him on a more advanced team so he can practice it more and be cheered on for this rare talent for a nine-year old?

really now. don't be jealous this kid's better than your son, other parents.

I hope the kid gets to a big league one day. If he can throw that speed at nine, imagine the records he'll break if he practices!

I can kind of understand it, because another kid could get hurt if he/she misses the ball (like most kids do) and it hits him/her anywhere on his/her body.
I'm sure there's a more advanced team the kid could go on. If not, then maybe he should just practice his ass off for two or three more years and wait to get on his middle school team.
I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with it. I'm just stating fact.

They shouldn't ban the kid from what he loves. That's just a bunch of BS. I feelbad for him, actually. He's a real prodigy and should be granted his talents.

From what I've read this kid is a prodigy in the sport so why penalize him? The decision to ban him to me is not logical and is unfair. I wish I knew what he ate to get so good.

They are banning him because he is too good. But also I read on this other website that they offered him a spot in a higher league than being on the little league and he did not take the offer.

Then why arent they moving him up in the leagues until he is playing with players who have equal talent, thats what we aussies do in footy!! If you're too talented then piss off to a better team lol.
GO JERICHO!!! I gotta love the kid, I cant play sports for shit so good on him!! When his older I hope he can make it big just to show those people how stupid they were <3

    That's so dumb!
I am upset at the people that banned him,
that's just wrong to do such a thing to a kid with soo much talent.

On the bright side, I am sure Jericho is going to go very far with baseball.
    Woo! Go Jericho! :]

    that's total bull.

that kid should be able to play.
    why would you do something
stupid like take him away from
    something he's likes, and is
    good at?

    it's like stealing Jimi's guitar.

That's aweful!! I was a pitcher when I was 9 and threw 35 mph. That's barely different. That's so sad. Every kid should get to play Little League if they want to. Especially if they're that good.

    That is not fair.
He should be playing with a team who is at his skill level.
Those parents are just a bunch of knuckleheads. >= \
