I just about threw up when I read this. That poor guy! And what a sick, evil, twisted person to murder that man like that. Obviously, something was very, very wrong with the attacker. He deserves to die the same way.

holy fuck, thats wrong! he was eating part of him in the back of the friggin bus! wow.... dude has to have done that before, or has some mental disorder cause who could have done that without emotion- and in front of people?! its like he wanted to be arrested but before hand wanted to fulfill a dream of killing someone. sick

every time i hear about this, i get so disgusted! the victim didn't do anything to deserve it, he was sleeping when the guy attacked him. and the guy who did it had a court appearance a few days ago, and apparently he was begging for the judge and jury to kill him, so now he's in suicide watch. he deserves everything he gets. i wish the death penalty would be brought back to canada just for people like him.

and as for the passengers on the bus...yes, they could have tried to stop him but when there's some psychopath waving a knife around and he's already attacked one person, everyone's first instinct is to get the hell away from the situation, especially when there are kids and babies on board. but the bus driver and a few other passengers did bar the door so that he couldn't escape, which was the right thing to do. i don't know. i would like to think that i would have tried to do something, that i would have tried to stop it, but when you're in that situation...who knows what you would do.

i don't know. this whole thing is just senseless and sad. i feel sorry for Tim's family, having to deal with losing him in such a bad way.

I'm seriously disgusted by this. My 10-year-old cousin told me about it and I thought he was just trying to gross me out. How can someone do that? And then cut his head off? Seriously, what the hell?! I really hope he gets punished for what he did.

That's so horrible and I'm truly digusted by this. I have a question though why did no one try to stop him. Were they that self-absorbed that they couldn't have tried to the stop the crazy man from killing that young man. To die so young is horrible to not be able to see the world. I understand they were scared but it's like dude does no one have the guts to stop this man from gutting a young man. I'm truly appaled and disgusted by this act of killing.

The murderer was a newspaper carrier.
The victim was a carnie, he was working at Capital Ex in Edmonton.
The paper had 4 or 5 pages full of articles on the incident.

when i first heard this, i was kinda skeptical, but then i heard it on the news and stuff. that was pretty harsh, to hack off the guys head randomly.
