    I don't think it's all the mothers fault. Babies and toddlers are very good at getting into things like that. Not blaming the kids either, but these things happen and it sucks. we all just need to be very careful. Make sure everything is out of reach.

    This is horrible, but:

    "They really need to make washing machines so kids can't get into them."

    You kind of say that as though the washing machine companies were EXPECTING kids to get shoved in there. It's probably hardly ever happened. It's like saying we need to put safety gates up around roads so kids don't get run over.

    These things happen. It's absolutely terrible, but they happen.
