i don't believe the Earth will end in 2012. We won't know when the world will end. Ever. People thought that the world would end in 2000 because it was 2000 years since Christ walked the Earth. We're still here aren't we?

This was well written, and you've done research and what I like is that you actually read the information.
Thanks and if you look in history around this time is right, even in the Bible.
Good job.

I can't see the world ending in 2012 I just hope it won't you know. However, if God thinks it's time for the world to end then I'll go up to heaven with no objection. And besides if our Earth does go it has nothing to do with our cars, most people seem to think it is though. Nice article by the way, sorry it tock a while for me to post.

Well, that's a relief! xD I only recently change my mind about the world ending in 2012. Only time will tell, but let's hope humanity learns from its mistakes. I suggest you read this, it kinda falls in line with your article: http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/magazine/17-05/ff_guidestones

I disagree with this for one reason(and I probably won't have many people to agree). We have no clue when Earth will end. No scientist can know exactly when it will end, because they have no control over nature and Earth. God will end the world when the time is right. It will be in His time not ours. So, as you say "a new beginining" you might want to think about what would happen if it wasn't just a new era and it was the end. (If this offends you, then I'm not sorry for speaking my mind.)

I really liked this article. C:

Favorite I've ever read on this site.

I never believed 2012 would be the end. I thought it would be a whole bunch of nothing. But this gives me something to look forward to. Besides the natural disasters, of course.

I love astrology and the zodiac though.

Ehhhh. People said the world would end in 2000. People said the world would end in 1984...

If it happens, oh well. If it doesn't, huzzah. It's nothing to be freaking out about.

People have been saying the worlds going to end for ages now. I'm not sure if the world will end, like someone already stated, it seems a bit to early for that. But i have to agree with you that their will be a big change then. I really hope the world still survives by then, because i wont even have graduated yet...... :( haha! But, i guess we all shall wait and see, no?

There are lots of people who don't understand what signifigance the year 2012 holds. And I never really believed that the world would end that soon. But I don't think it will last much longer, at the rate this world is going.

Anyways, this was a great article.

Wow, your article was very enlightning for me. Although I never believed that the world would end in 2012 maybe we took this "prediction" a little too literaly and all it means is that the world will have a dramatic change in 2012. But the question is with humans still on the planet can the world truely be a peaceful place?

I think it's so funny that my mom and I were having a conversation about this only a few hours ago...
Anyway, I thought the article was very good. =)
I think the same thing - besides, they said the same thing for 2000 (that the world would end) and the earth is still thriving. I think it's rather... calming to know this. I graduate in '12 so that would suck to die right after I broke free from school. XD
Quite looking forward to 2012 now ^.^

Thanks!

My mother told me the same thing (of course, not as well worded as your article), but I believed her. Now I guess I have more reassurance to the story. Well at least I know I might not die before 2012. SO, thank you for setting me at ease.
