How rude! I agree, he shouldn't have posted that on her wall. A voicemail would have been a lot more professional if he couldn't contact her in person.
I really feel for her. I just got laid off because I'm in marching band! My boss didn't even tell me he was laying me off...I had to call HIM!
I would see about getting the boss fired, just because he doesn't appear to know how to handle difficult situations professionally.
I also don't think she should be fired over ten pounds. That's only like $15 in the US. Chiiiilll.
That guy honestly should have learned how to spell before he put that on there, and even then it's extremely unprofessional and rude. There's such a thing as messaging, not putting something on the wall. You ca send messages so no one but that person can read them :/
totally unprofessianal! i mean honestly, the boss could've sent her a private message or something! and it was all in type speak, which makes it worse.
I have to say if my boss fired me on my facebook wall I would punch her/him straight in her throat... well not really, but in my mind, oh she/he would be receiving the beating of a lifetime.
Wow, how unproffessional ;/
What a horrid way to fire someone.
Poor girl I bet she was really embarrassed after that.
I know I would have been O_O
They could have at least tried to phone again later on or something, there are plenty other ways to contact somebody. D:
wow the dude couldn't wait till she came to work. I mean seriously has he ever heard of voice mail? Also how hard is it to spell because I'm pretty you should of had that down by 2nd grade.
Ugh! Sue them! That was totally unfair and totally unprofessional and childish of them. To even put it in such a friendly and casual manner like it was just your mate letting you down for a project at school. They didn't even spell "you" correctly. That was the least they could do. Over Facebook is an extremely horrible way to fire someone. They should've just waited till the next time she was work.
