[b]v[/b] I agree. I'm also a Filipino and I really feel horrible. I was sad because there were people killed. It's just sad too that some countries look as Philippines as a dangerous country. But I completely understand. I hope that everything will be alright.

I just feel horrible and slightly embarrassed by this as I'm a Filipino. It could have been handled a lot differently but remember, the Philippines is not like Canada or the States. Hostages and such is not a rare occurrence there, this just happened to catch the world's attention. I'll pray for the lives that were taken.

yeah, the hostage taking in my opinion wasn't handled carefully. You would turn on CNN or BBC and it would be playing the same thing: the hostage taking. this was the topic for my school's debate and let me tell you it was a heated discussion.
