In my school Yr's 7, 8, 9 & 10 got the day off while my year(11) and the Sixth Form had to go in! But some students also got the day off because their teachers were on strike.
We had no reg teacher but thats ok!
In total there was about 85 of us in.
i had to go to school because i'm in year 9 but only 2 year groups were in school and most of the teachers wern't there
i was pretty lucky to think about it
my Drama teacher was there
my Music teacher was
my Histroy teacher was
my geography teacher was on strike but my media teacher was also there along with my form tutor
hardly anyone in my year group or year 11 turned up so there was around 100 students in school together out of 300 that were due in and 3500 that attend the school
nahahahahah, Scotland unafected.
...
is that good or bad? owell, OUR teachers are happy =3
gggrrrrrrah we haven't had a teacher strike here for eons. no fair.
Disrupted timetables? Suffered?
Which kids DON'T love a day off or a day slacking at school, come on! haha
sadly we were year 11, so we had to go in, but it was lovely and peaceful as there were no years 7-10!
And we got pretty dossy lessons, and got to go home early!
I'm not complaining hahaha! =]
x
We didnt have to go into school so me and some friends went in town and we saw some of our teachers that were on strike getting on the train because they had spent the day shopping
I had to go in. Only about 12 of my teachers striked. But it was PE and Art we missed. And I hate them =]
I thought we should have been allowed to strike in support of teachers. We almost went and sat in the playground for the whole day.
But they moved us...
it was a complete waste really
