Girl Of Thirteen Commits Suicide

A girl of thirteen, Hannah Bond, was found hanged in her bedroom. She used a tie and hung herself from her bunk bed after discovering the fashion 'emo'.

She had been cutting her wrists several weeks before the horrid death, and told her father it was part of the 'emo fashion'.

People, including newspapers, are blaming the band My Chemical Romance, who she currently discovered weeks before hanging herself.

Her mother, Heather, said "There are websites that show pink teddies hanging themselves... She called Emo a fashion and I thought it was normal."

She added: "Hannah was a normal girl. She had loads of friends. She could be a bit moody but I thought it was just because she was a teenager with hormones."

Hannah's father Ray, a karate teacher, said: "Weeks before, I saw the cuts. I asked her about them and she said it was an Emo fashion... She promised me she would never do it again."

Hannah was not involved with drugs or alcohol.
