I like collaboration. You never know until it happens. It depends whether the band's/rapper's style just compliment each other. If they don't then you're rather screwed.

I say that because each rock band and hip/hop has their own unique sound. Any musician has their own sound in the end it's just whether their style syncs with the other's.

I totally agree with you. I think it's because rock and hip-hop/rap share the same energy, you know, so it's just blends really well.

I added you, thank's heaps for this by the way. And I think we all have our little scene kid moments, I've done the whole RIOT thing before, tehe.

My sister is a massive fan of Linkin Park, (SN - Serenity), I like them because of the two meshes aswell, they're doing something really cool and different.

Yeah I've always known the Walk This Way collab, but never really got into it, now I'm so tempted to download it because I've randomly fallen in love with it. You shouldn't be ashamed to like Linkin Park, although I know why I guess, sometimes the rapping can be a bit cheesy I think, just the style I guess, but still good. I'm confusing myself :\

I don't know if this counts, but I've been a fan of Aerosmith and Run DMC doing 'Walk This Way' together. :/
Yeah, it does sound pretty damn awesome, compared to what you'd think it would be.

I'm ashamed to admit I like Linkin Park because of what Jacquelyn said about Mike's rapping.
Though, I like his Fort Minor project, better...

    DUUUUUUUUUDE.

I totally agree like 2000% - I love any sort of rock or metal with hip-hop or rap.

That's why I love Linkin Park. I like how they can have all different types of songs, and also how Mike raps but they still manage to keep their rock-ish-ness.

    :)

    I love rock/metal & rap/hip-hop together.

I have this random remix of 'Vampires Will Never Hurt You' with a rap song... It's excellent.
