That's one thing I am expecting; Crappy sequels. A lot of books that I get way attached too, and others enjoy as well, tend to have disappointing and infuriating sequels. egad!

You really think Edward is sweet and caring? He's kind of a stalker and really creeps me out. I mean, he watches some random chick he just met sleep. He's actually very abusive. He keeps Bella from doing things she wants and does things for himself in a very selfish manner. From your post, I assume you've only read the first one, so I'll resist the temptation of spoiling the ending.

But honestly, I thought it was one of the worst books ever. I get that you like it and I'm not saying that's bad or anything because the first time I read it I thought it was just about the most amazing thing ever. But once the dust settles and you actually look at it, hopefully you'll realize a lot of things are wrong with the book. Like Bella, for example. She's very one dimensional. And then Edward! I really hate Edward. I think he thinks too much of himself. And I really don't understand how the two have a relationship. They mostly just talk about themselves and their immense love for each other. I've honestly never seen a true connection between the two. They never seem to have a basic conversation about themselves and their interests. And all Bella can do is talk about how pretty Edward is. She explains more about how he looks than how his personality is.

... I'm sorry for the mini-rant. I hope I didn't spoil anything for you but instead just went on (possible too much) about my dislike for this book. I mean, it's a good book and all for a quick fun little read, but literary I think it's a complete disaster.

The book was good but after the first one it kind of went downhill. Breaking Dawn was the biggest dissappointment out of all of them though. =/
