I remember having a bad opinion on them the first time I saw them. They showed some music video on Disney Channel. (I have to watch my sister all the time so Disney Channel is always on pretty much) and I remember watching the younger one and going, "My god, he's not moving his hand at all, how is he playing guitar?" when you play "air guitar" in your music video it really pisses me off. >.<
And then they're not very talented, I've heard boy bands with way better voices. When I was my sisters age we had Backstreet Boys and N'Sync and even if they weren't "original" their voices were better. [oh, I went there]
It's a fad, it'll run out as soon as these kids move on to MTV...*sighs*
    And 100-900+ a ticket?!?!?
    WHAT?!?
You can see fucking Green Day for 30 bucks (they purposely keep their tickets as low as possible) and I'm going to see Metallica next week for 50$.
Now that is just milking it...
    >.<

    Actually, you know what?

I think that you can tell how "good" a band is by their target audience. 97% of these guys' fans are 8-12 year old brats with too much free time on their hadns who will love anything they are shown, pretty much.

We'll see the value of their "music" 20 years from now, when no one even remembers who they were, and if we do, they're gonna be a good joke.

how much for a ticket? *gasp times 100*
Man, I knew that ther're talentless money-sucking brats, but that's just too much.
I go to FREE shows that artists million times better do. I'm coming to a point where how easy pre-teens and teens are manipulated gets above annoying. C'mon. Go listen to Paul McCartney for a while and then go back to these talentless kids. You have to be deaf not to see the difference.

That is just sad actually. Wouldn't see 'em at all.
I don't see the appeal of them either.
Melbourne: it depends on the suburb. Bentleigh and Brighton have pretty good looking guys. Glen has got a lot of people from Asian backgrounds. Oakleigh, loaded with Greeks.
    It depends on your tastes.
Jonas Brothers.... they'll outgrow the pre-teens sooner or later. :shifty

For crying out loud kids, stay true to your religion or don't preach it at all!

And for the "Melbourne vs Canberra" part, I'm from Melbourne and I don't think our guys are any better. Too many fucking muzza's.

Thank you! I've been waiting for someone to finally understand how I feel about them!

I dunno, it just kind of seems like they do all of this stuff, and then go and contradict themselves hours after. Like how they're all into "saving the environment" and then Nick J gets a Mustang for his 16th. Don't get me wrong, they're absolutely BEAUTIFUL cars but those things are freaking gas guzzlers! I don't get how they set up this image for themselves as these good little christian boys who are amazing musicians and don't believe in pre-marital sex, when Joe J walks onstage with a boner (oh so nicely nicknamed the 'Joner') almost every night and have all this fake, pre-produced Disney bull that so obviously sounds like it's been tweaked with. I mean, honestly, there are other, better bands out there who are actually unique with their music and actually try to set themselves apart from everyone else but don't get any recognition because of bands like this one. They don't know what it's like to actually start yourself off like so many other bands have, and to make music that really means something to them.

Let's face it. Two of the Jonas Brothers' songs (one being a hit single) weren't even theirs in the first place. Year 3000 and What I Go To School For were originally songs sung by the British band Busted, who, rather unfortunately, broke up a while back. If you haven't already, I suggest listening to them. The original versions are way better.

    xoxo,

Well. I am a Jonas Brother's fan and when you write Jonas Brothers in the title, it's kinda hard NOT to see it.

Actually; I am I real big Jonas Brother's fan.

But I guess everyone is intitled to their own opinions, so it's not like I can give you crap for your opinion.

Unless, you know, you start being all extreme. Then I'd be like, "Caterpillars are cool, sucker!"

Yes. Joe's eyebrows are extremely bushy and he needs to do something about it. I am sorry, but something needs to be done!

So yeah. What a lame way to finish off a journal comment. =)

Almost a thousand dollars a ticket? Dude, that is so wrong.
I wouldn't see them even if they shaved their heads, played on stage naked and shot fire out their asses.

    I agree completely.

And have you noticed? Joe Jonas has two giant caterpillars on his face....but he never seems to notice....nor does anyone else.

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES SAID INSECTS!?!?!?!
