just read this journal while browsing randomly, and I'm sad to read that you have an eating disorder. :( My sister suffers from bulimia, and it's a tough situation for both the sufferer and the family... sometimes your parents will feel helpless, and they wont really know what to say, making jokes is probably their way of maybe avoiding the truth of the situation, and trying to make it go away...
