i know this is like, a month after you posted...
but I happen to be in love with FAD, more so than some of their earlier records. There are individual songs on each that I like, but as a whole, Id have to say that I like FAD the best.

I wanted to go to the listening party, but my means of transportation (aka, my mom) decided not to take me.

I still get extremely happy inside when I hear one of their songs on the radio, and when the perform on tv, I try my best to watch them.

Even if their status is dwindling, its not because real fans are leaving them. its because the people who only like them because Pete was hot (and really, i have no problem with that xD) have found someone new to oogle at.

But the brightside is that now concerts may be more sane (there was some crazy people when I last saw them). And now that the majority of the people are there for the music, thats what the band can focus on.

i guess it's because they haven't really done anything for awhile like interviews, music videos,or tours. I almost stopped liking them because they didn't make anything new but when I read about their upcoming album Folie A Deux(which is an awesome album), I screamed(not really).
I don't really like Pete that much. He can't play bass. Joe should get the most attention. He formed the band after all

In the early spring/summer of 2005 when “Sugar, We’re Going Down” was popular, Fuse TV was at its best. They aired music videos most of the time, and “Sugar, We’re Going Down” was in heavy rotation. Now, Fuse is following in the footsteps of MTV. I never watch it anymore, because every time I turn it on, there is either a stupid movie or Hip Hop Number 1 countdown. I personally haven’t seen any of Fall Out Boy's new videos except for “I’m like a lawyer…” and that was on MTV. Unless you know exactly what time to watch, and plan your life around it, there is almost no way to see music videos anymore.

Yes, I understand that Fall Out Boy play on satellite and on regular radio all the time. So what? Songs on the radio are easy to dismiss. When they are overplayed they are easy to ignore. Their music is reaching more and more people, but yet I think they are failing to establish a new fan base. I don’t think as many people can relate to them without seeing their music videos.

I own both “From Under The Cork Tree” and “Infinity on High,” but I have no interest in buying their new album. I’ve heard their new songs, and I’ve taken them with a grain of salt…just like the Britney Spears song that played before it, and the Rhianna song that will play after it. I just don’t relate to the band anymore.

That's my theory. If you agree with me, comment me back. If you don't, dismiss it entirely. Happy Thanksgiving : ]

Maybe it's because people have forgotten what Pete Wentz's penis look like.

I still love Fall Out Boy and I'm very excited about their album. I love the two singles they've released already. Personally, I think that every album they have comes out a bit better than the last. So I can't wait for Folie A Deux (sp?).

I think it has a lot to due with their touring schedule. I mean, they didn't really have a big summer tour and Fall Out Boy is one of those bands that are great on the CD but even better live. Have you been to one of their shows? It's insane.

Maybe when their album is release and the start a big tour again, things will perk up.

Pete Wentz is so damn ugly!!!!!!!
    No offense.
I love fall out boy's music. But other people aren't as loyal. as Allie Ahmazing said, people have moved on and got over it.

But when VH1 does "The Best Songs of The New Millenium" and Sugar, We're Going Down is at like... 50 then I'll look back on this and contemplate (at that time) the present status of FOB. =]

I'm looking forward to their new album.
I didn't like 'Infinity On High' very much, it was sort of a let down. I'm hoping 'Folie a Deux' will be better than 'Infinity On High'.

I'm excited for the new album.
The only people who have moved on are the ones who are obsessed with anything popular. And currently, the Jonas Brothers are the 'it' thing.

I don't find Pete Wentz attractive at all, so I don't know what other people see in him, really.
And I also don't like Fall Out Boy either, well maybe just two or so songs, but the other, not at all.

    Yes, and no.
    People have moved on,
but they'll jump on the bandwagon again when the time comes.
