This Paper Planes Nonsense - Comments

I know what you mean. I love the song so much, but then it was on the commercials for um...that movie with Seth Rogan and James Franco. Radio stations started playing 24/7 until I couldn't stand to listen to it anymore.

I love the song "Jimmy" though and "Pickle Down River" both of which is on her second album (I think). I haven't listened to the first one.

it's like every commercial that wants to seem cool has to play it. D:

and yeah, I like the song and all but the more I hear it the more annoyed I get because I prefer The Clash, y'know?

Funny story about Paper Planes: At a dance, my friend went up and requested it. The DJ looked at him weird, then said "...It's already playing. Like, right now."

I like the song, and I was surprised when I found out that M.I.A. also did Bucky Done Gun. I'm just gonna trust your opinon that it's overplayed, because I never watch TV or listen to the radio.

It has started to bug me a bit now too, I guess it's a natural reaction though. And the rappers sampling it is so annoying, and half of them turn her beats/lyrics into crap, her music and lyrics have so much more originality and depth than that.

hahaha its annoying when that happens! but you never know, i heard that once someone did it right
