They only do that, because the artist get money; as well with the producers and shit. And without the violence, the shows wouldn’t be interesting to watch. That’s all television is these days :cute:
Oh dear, Kaitlin. You one day might save the world! . I never want my eight year old sister to act like that. I almost made her look like a nun at Halloween because everything was like child porn. I felt bad but I never ever want her to turn out like those people.
AutomaticLaralietter (I can't keep up with your usernames) and Miss.Understanding said it best. The producers of the show pick the women with the least amount of class and decency and then through them into a house and just wait for them to tear each other to shreds. It's like a freaking dog fight. I watched one episode of Flavor of Love and that was the end of that for me. It's so ridiculous that these women act that way to win the affections of men like Flavor Flav or Bret Michaels (no offense to you, since you said you like him, but he's not a big enough catch to act the way those girls act).
Personally, I find it hilarious. And you said that you don't judge people, but in the same paragraph called the girls sluts. Everyone judges, it's human nature. Just don't take the shows too seriously. I doubt that even Brett Michaels does. He may say he's in it for "love," but we all know that that isn't true.
Drama sells. It also might be a bit that those girls are paid to be a little bit more...extreme. T.V I think also tries to seek out people who are more likely to not get along, because...well, drama, sex, drugs and such sells. Fast.
It gets people interested, because, really. Who wants to watch a happily ever after movie when you can watch angst and cat fights! *sigh*. And yes, for the most part women arn't like that, it's done I think mostly to sell. They all want money.
I agree with you. They degrade themselves and then when the cry and say "I am not a slut." Boo-freakin'-whoo. You did it to yourself. Oh, and you forgot to mention the shows running now, Real Chance of Love and A Double Shot at Love. Blah.
