It hurts when he tries to say something and no one understands him too, but with that he had learned to do a lot of things by himself.
That is one good thing, I guess. XD

My brother's two and still isn't talking properly yet. Baby's should be talking at around 18 months to 24 months. Jake's 30 months. He can do absolutely everything you say to him; he understands everything, he just can't communicate himself. Well, some words you can make out...but it breaks my heart when he trys to say something and nobody can understand him. Still, he's improving, and I have complete faith that he'll be fine.

What I hate though is those stupid child therapists that think they know everything about a child after one session. Jake went for an assesment; and the report made him seem as though he could't do anything. Of course he's going to seem off around a therapist, as if he's going to be himself around a complete stranger!

Boys speech develops slower than girls, anyway...I was talking at 12 months. My first word was Bambi, ha.

Wow, you're really a great sister to your brother. Well, as you mentioned, he can do almost everything alone. Just give him time. Maybe it takes longer for him to develop like any normal child. But he will, eventually. Just talk to him and keep giving him faith.

I know I'm not a good help. But, Merry Christmas and be strong.

    xoxo
