    I get the a lot and I agree 100%!
I've had people request profiles randomly too. It's a good feeling but when they get irritating and won't stop bugging you until it's done, then it gets rather annoying!

The thing that bothers me most is the lack of enthusiasm and credit [Like you said!] That really bugs me! I took the time to make it so at least be happy about it. As for credit I now put my SN in a position where it's difficult to remove without ruining the banner. =]

Ahaha, I've had that happen before.
Someone asked me to make them something and I did and then they asked for another one and since I was so busy with school I didn't even have time to make it so the person hasn't talked to me sense.

Which was funny now that I think about it because I wonder if she read that one chapter in my story just to ask me to make her a banner? Ahaha.

    She definitely pulled the:
"I love your story! Your banners are so cool! How did you make them?"
    Couple comments later.
"oh! would you mind making me one?"

AHAHA. Love your rant darling <3

Dude Kathleen you're sooo right. And like when they ask you, and you do. But they're like no wait no, she's not a singer in this. IT'S A FUCKING STORY, make her a singer. The person in the banner is just portraying YOUR CHARACTER. So then they ask you to make another one. God. This makes me so mad too. Haha and I definitely love you for writing this. It's soooo true. I always get these requests too. And the fake butt kissing? Ha. It's like get more believable or better compliments. *sigh* Anyways, seriously, two words. Virtual torches :)

v I do agree with what ToastAndJam said too, though. If your banner isn't used, it's still nice to get some positive feedback about it from the person who requested it. (I've only ever requested, and received, one banner here on Mibba, but I was very enthusiastic about the end result. I mean, just look at it! It's so well-made and pretty. The enthusiasm was well-deserved.)

I mostly agree. I hate when people don't leave credit... I usually don't put my name on banners because my user name changes a lot so there's no point except to prove the person I gave it to didn't make it. I don't like the lack of credit because I always think that if someone's browsing a story I made a banner for and they like my banner, maybe they'll want one, too. As far as I know, I've never had someone claim my banner as their own... If they did, I'd probably never leave them alone. I'd probably internet stalk them and anytime they made a banner request, I'd start screaming about how they steal banners..

I personally don't mind if they don't actually use my banner. If they can find something better, then they should use that. But what I hate is lack of enthusiasm when they get the banner. I'm not asking them to worship me because I made a banner, but at least add a couple exclamation points in there... It makes me feel like they don't like what I did and they're just too nice to tell me to change it - even though I purposely add at the end of the message when I send the banner, that if they don't like something I will gladly fix it for them.

Deep breath. When someone requests banners, there is the chance that more than one person will come through and make one for them. Then, the person who requested the banner has to pick and choose only one to use - it's against Mibba rules to have more than one banner in your story, and so using all of the ones made for you would only get the author in trouble, and their story suspended. It really does suck for the person who spends time making a banner, and then doesn't get it used, but it does happen. :/

    I know what you mean.
I make banners for people and it makes me angry when people take off the credit or something.
I don't really mind if they don't use it though. They could have found something better than the one I made. It doesn't really bother me.
