    Haha. See, the whole 'worthwhile' thing keeps me from writing journals, because I'm not sure anything I have to say is exactly 'worthwhile'. And I don't want to get in trouble for writing something deemed 'unworthwhile'. You know?

    Haha, I agree with asteroid. It's really annoying when you write something you care about and people read it and say, "this was dumb. Write something interesting." If they got bored with it, they could just go read some other journal and not say your topic isn't worthwhile. It's your journal; write what you want.

    As I see it, the "effort" thing is there to keep you from writing one-sentence journals to pimp stories or write something like LOLOLOFOMFGYEUDHSJKJIBELYK,SOHIAPER!%^&@#%&!!!?!!

    As for being "worthwhile", write whatever you like. Eh, if people don't like it, there's always the back button ;D
