Well, a true, good friend doesn't let it drop. I wouldn't. If I saw my friend was feeling screwed up, I wouldn't sit idly by until they got worse or something bad happened to them. I'd say, "hey! You're not fine! Look me in the eye right now and tell me the freaking problem. Then I'll try and help you through it, and cry with you or kick someone's ass if you need me to."

See, its more about manners than anything... Of course no one wants to tell their buds they're depressed, even if thats the majority of our world? Because no one cares, not really. whatever we do, we;re doing it for selfish reasons. no matter what, we are - for our own feeling of satisfaction. because in reality, there is nothing in this world to live for except our own happiness. which is nonexistant. i rest my case.
Disclaimer: I am NOT okay, i am insane and am an insomniac and if you wanna read my journal to figure that out then feel free coz I dont care how many ppl know.

the problem isn't telling the truth. The problem is trust. As much as you are expecting to hear their answer, they are also expecting for you to answer a certain way..to make them feel a certain way. So why would anybody risk any of this?

That is pretty true. You have a great insight into people's minds.
