  • I think a lot of people do that... brush things away... and it is a good defense mechanism, for those instances where you have to be strong - by yourself, and then the anger comes in afterwards... weeks, months, years, whatever.

    And you realise that it's been simmering there for way too long, right? And it hurts... a lot.

    But sometimes, like with this: playing the part is half the mission, and superficiality is just enough to get by sometimes... not so much inside, but people respond to masks... strong on the outside, so fragile within. But then you feel alone, and that's never all that wonderful.

    I hope things are better now. ^_^

    I get what you're saying, it wouldn't be too hard to just ask once in a while
    Though there's always the possibility it seemed different from their perspective
    Well I'm sure it was but I mean may not have seemed as bad
    I don't think I make sense at all
