I say, fuck him (not in the literal sense). If he's not ready to commit then he's not worth it. I know I sound like some women's magazine called something stupid like Pick Me Up, but it's true.

If you still like him when he's ready to commit, then go for it. But it sounds to me like he's trying to take advantage of you. I don't mean to offend, but if he's not willing to do all the good stuff that being in a good relationship has, don't do it.

Hey, there's no reason to cry, who cares what people at school say? Most of the time they're just stirring in their own vats of hate and deciept.

So, I'll stop waffling. And if you need to talk or rant at someone, I am here, willing.
