Dreams are the process of you brain sorting and processing certain information while you sleep. If you've been tihnking about her (or death) a lot recently it's understandable if you are dreaming about it as well.

Some people find relief, others find it worrying. Either way don't worry and accept that you are still seeing her in some form. I haven't seen my grandma yet - I wish I could.

I'm sorry that you lost a friend, may she rest in peace and you smile soon.

Hope this helps (sorry it's rather long)

I don't know, it's been something I've been thinking about since like three months now. I lost my best friend this summer (suicide) and three months-ish ago I started having nightmares, I dreamt that she choked me. I don't know why I keep having that dream, I had it for like three weeks straight, meaning I didn't sleep that well. I ended up being afraid to sleep, and tried to stay up as long as possible. But I still had that dream.
And everytime I woke up I pretty much couldn't breathe. It took about a minute for me to be able to breath normaly, then I started hyperventilating instead..

I haven't been having the nightmare as freaquently, but it do happens that I have it every once in a while. I don't understand why I dream that she wants to kill me, we were like sisters and all.. :/
