Turns out, it was those plastic almost stretchy bracelets you can get from Hot Topic, ya know the one's that are multi colored, but everone prefers the black? Yea, those. They smelled sooooo badly, but I didn't notice it becuase I had been wearing them for hours around a mall before I went home.
Now they're soaking in hot soapy water. Next is a bleach bath. lol
This site has something: http://www.aaanimalcontrol.com/skunksmellremovalrid.htm
It looks valid enough.
My roommate says to take a vinegar bath. Fill up the tub, add vinegar, and soak for a bit. Then empty the tub. Clean it. Take a good shower, scrub your skin. Fill up the bath again, add some sweet smelling bubbly bath or something. Soak some more. Empty the tub once more and take another shower. He lived in a woody area and says he's been sprayed a couple of times. *shrugs*
It seems really time-expensive to me, but he swears by it. The extra baths is to get rid of the vinegar smell. He says to make sure to get the vinegar in your hair and then wash it out really well with shampoo.
Supposedly, tomato juice doesn't work anyway. It just seems to, because the human nose stops smelling the skunk scent after a while. This one website I was on said hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and dish soap, but... I don't know. I've never had a skunk problem (and that might just be for animals...) =/
Nope. Not at all. I smelled it a little bit last night when she said that, but after that I didn't at all. So I'm thinking that maybe (it's quite possible) that I got used to it.
