    I think that the girls are facinated in the hope that a boy could possible write some poetic? or meaningful. Especilly since alot of the writers on here are in their teens or young adult life. I remember for school once my class had to write a poem. Alot of the girls took it seriously, well mainly my best friend and I and we wrote somethign very personal and meaningful. Then we got laughed at by the boys in our class because according to them
    "We would write something like that"
    Just because we both grew up in a crime filled area and our home lives arent all that perfect. Doesnt mean that when we get the chance to write something meaningful to us, we should just hide it. Or write it on the inside as they said it. It made me sick, my teacher hung up our two poems and I tore them down when people were making fun of it.

    Oh and by the way, you are lucky you got 20 comments, I think I got one, after like a month.

    haha when i came on mibba i didn't get a comment till about after a month.
    Sure i comment boys but i usally comment the whole page of new users not just the boys.

    i don't get why people send really annoying and stupid comments to get others attention -.- my first comments to people most of the time are "hey how are you?"

    See I think it's hilarious that girls comment any guy that happens to join the site...it's clearly an attempt at attention-gaining from a male.
    I wasn't expecting any welcome comments when I joined and I came on and had about six comments and I was like, "Wow, that's so nice!"

    I know exactly what you're talking about. When I made an account on here, I got like...ten comments. Definitely not complaining, however, seeing as those people who did comment turned out to be really cool people.

    And about the whole guys being fake thing? I think you might be right. Everytime, and I mean every freakin' time I talk to a guy on here, the next day they are either "not active" or quit because of all the "comment rape". It's ridicilous really.

    Oh well. I guess that's the way it is. (: Thanks for posting this, by the way. Saved me the trouble. Haha.
