High School is a drag. I'm just not into it at all. I mean, I want to learn and actually graduate, but my attention span doesn't last that long. I'm like three or five weeks behind already. It's come to the point where I don't even care, to be honest.

Hey, I feel exactly like you. I'm in my fourth year and this whole year's just been hell. I mean, I'm doing fine in English but my previously best subject, Math, has slipped so much and I just don't care any more. I got forced into taking Advanced Math and I honestly use that lesson to catch up on sleep and other work cause I'm never gonna need it so what's the point?

I agree with everything that's been said here, it's good stuff - although ForeverTheSikestKate might want to watch her drug intake, helium may sound like a funny voice to you but to midgets, that is their LIFE, man!

I'd say you just need to relax your brain totally for a bit, not even think about it. Or maybe just watch some inspiring films. Like...don't laugh...Legally Blonde. Or New York Minute. Seriously, that film is beyond good! Don't let the Olsen twins put you off, it'll be the biggest mistake of your life! Worse even than the helium addict *shakes head sadly*

I scraped through my senior year and I really regret it. I know that it may not seem worth it to do your work now and get good grades, etc. I mean, it's not exactly the end of the world if you don't get good grades, you don't drop dead after graduation or anything.

But... it kinda helps if you manage decent marks, particularly if you're interested in going to college.

And hey, 83 sounds pretty good to me.

Dude. I am so with you.
For a while, I was like, a gaint nerd when it came to school. Now, I'm in all advanced but math, but I don't even try. I decided I was giving up on it. I mean, think about it. Yea, I still go to school, but I don't even think about thinking about trying in anything. I don't want to get out of college and have some boring ass working class life. I decided it would be way easier to live hard and short. Like, try drugs, booze, and sex while I'm young. Enjoy the things I like. Fuck the things I don't. And die.
    That's my life plan.

Maybe you're being to hard on yourself. I would be proud if I got an 83 in my class. I'm currently getting all C's, and I'm pretty cool with that. And you'll never get anywhere in life if you tear yourself down like that. Sorry, but it's the truth. I know it because I lived it!!
