That's so sad. I'm sooo sorry. I have 2 dogs, and I can't think about how awful it would be if either of them died...

You still have Cari (that is the dog right?) and these things in life can only make us stronger. I think having to put my cat down and my mum's cancer last year have taught me methods of coping that would be helpful if life ever gets absolutely awful. I'll always be here for hugs :) xx

Some things in life are bad
They can really make mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

Aw, I know exactly what you mean.
My cat, who we got two months before I was born, just died.
i know its hard to move on, but you have to. Remember him fondly and think of the good times you had when you were younger instead of the bad times when he was old.
