You should Bebo/Myspace a band called 'A Kiss Goodbye'. They're a NZ Christian Rock band, but, as, yourpinkdiary says, their beliefs influence their music.

There are some good Christian Bands in my opinion.. I'm a Christian myself, but Christian music stations on the radios....? So freaking annoying. Every song sounds the same.

Take Anberlin, Death Cab For Cutie, (I like UnderOath a lot, too, but you mentioned that already of course, and Paramore) for instance. I really love those bands, and they also are Christian, but not crazy I LOVE JESUS YOU MUST LOVE JESUS TOOO LALALA bands, thank goodness..

Relient K is a decent band, but so many of their songs sound the same.. and those songs are the definite worship songs on their cds.

I don't know what is wrong with some Christian bands, that their lyrics totally thrash society.. seriously, it's not gonna change by their one song.

But, eh, I don't only listen to Christian music, definitely not. I couldn't possibly live that way, I'd go crazy, cause I'd have to start listening to the mainstream Christian music, then I'd have a panic attack from need of real music..

Anywho, that's what I thought while reading this. Sorry for the long comment =/

The whole rock 'n roll thing doesn't go with Christianity.

It really annoys me when I love the song but hate the lyrics.

Could never see how 'Christian' and 'rock' went together. Back in the sixties and seventies, Christians protested rock music because it was thought to be Satanic. =/ What the hell happened?

Unless they sing directly about Jesus... use his name I mean... I don't consider a band to be Christian Rock. I see it as more Rock with a Christian influence. And there are plenty of bands like The Classic Crime, Skillet, etc that are on 'christian labels' but they don't claim to be Christian bands, just that their beliefs undoubtedly influence their music.

Besides, if the band has songs you like why not listen to them?
