Well, my friendy. I could go on-and-on about religion and what not (like I usually do) but I don't feel like annoying you at the moment.

All I have to say is: It must suck being the daughter of a pastor, if this is what you usually deal with.

What I mean by one sided is that they only think logically and do not take human nature into consideration. That's all.

Oh, I didn't think I compared murder to a belief in God. Sorry, just slipped my mind I guess. >.<

I get what you're saying but it kinda doesn't make sense that you say I simply cannot stand one-sided people when you, yourself, seem to be one. I mean most people are pretty one-sided. I just didn't get it.

And like yourpinkdiary I didn't understand the whole 'logic' thing.

Um, I don't know if this was your intention or not, but comparing belief in God to murder is, uhm,a bit extreme, yeah?

Anyway, I don't think you should have to be confirmed if it's not your belief. That really wouldn't be right.

You've still got years ahead of you... that being said I agree that it's better that you're honest about what you believe and are not lying about it.

I've always said that when I have kids I'd rather them tell me if they don't believe in God rather than going on pretending that they do because they think it'll make me 'happy' or whatever.

The pastor of my church has a son that doesn't believe in God and does a lot fo things against his parents beliefs... our pastor has said openly that us, he prays for him everyday, but does he love him any less? No. Does he force his son to believe anything? No? I mean he's not going 'oh that's ok, whatever you believe is fine' but he's not saying "I'm banishing you from this family'.

I was confused about when you were talking logic... like what you actually meant by that.

But anyway, you seem like a pretty rational person and most people your age don't know what to believe, so you're not alone in that at all.

don't put yourself down because you're 14, hun. if you're not sure in your belief in god, go ahead and call yourself an agnostic. you can always change your mind later. contrary to popular belief, it's both okay and possible to do that. it's not like you have to get your opinions tattooed on your forehead.

age is just a number. each 14 year old is different from the next. never let someone tell you you're inferior because you're young. that's the highest level of bullshit attainable.

it's okay for you and your mom to have different opinions. it'll keep conversation lively.

    take care (:
