i get what you mean for the most part, i mean. A lot of people fail to notice that a majority of the country is white. (no offense to white people though. all the white kids i know are pretty chill)

and to bite me bree... what you said is kind of offensive. admitting that you're racist was brave and all but your reasoning behind everything you said was based upon a stereotype. It might help to get to know a person of a particular race before you shove them into one of your predetermined catagories.

Sorry.. that comment just bothered me.

I am asian and i agree with ya

To: BiteMeBree And it bothers me that everyone says Asians are good at math and they're smart. That's not always true. I completley and utterly SUCK at math. And that's an individual thing, sure some might think they're better than everyone else because of their GPA. But I'm sure other people of other races think the same thing about something else about themselves *shrugs*

And I agree we are a proud minority. As are other races as well. We invented so many things that are vital to the world today. The wheel, mirrors, paper, paper money, tooth brush's, soap, glass, the the written language, cartography and countless other things. And don't get me wrong i'm not saying other races have invented very useful things to, for instance Caucasians made discovered electricity. Every race is probably not recognized for the things they do. Except Americans (no offense to any Americans here) I think they've been quite recognized.

    Amen to that!
    (I'm Asian, by the way)
And yeah, stereotypes are horrible, but what can we do about them? As long as prejudice exists(which it always will), stereotypes and all these crazy assumptions will never stop.

Oh. My good friend's asian. She's racist towards herself which is pretty funny. XD
And like skank said (woah, I feel weird calling you skank.XD) I'm also jealous of them. I'm not trying to stereotype them, but EVERY asian I've met and seen has really nice clothing style, fabulous hair, and their culture is so fascinating. They're nothing like canadians. What're we known for? Beer. I think. =/

v I'll admit that I sometimes have those feelings, too.

And I don't like Asians very much. I'm Asian. I don't like anything to do with it, though. Sometimes being Asian can get too out of hand, you know, being part of those stereotypes. That's what I mean.

I'm not going to lie, I am sort of racist. I mean, I'm 50% Mexican, but I don't like most Mexicans around where I live, 'cause as soon as they see a teenage girl, they turn around and stare at their ass. I don't like black people because they're, for the most part, loud and obnoxious. I don't like Asians because, at my school, most of them tend to think they're better than everyone else because they have a 4.0 GPA.
At least I can admit I'm racist, you know?

There's racism everywhere. No one is really overlooked, because it effects everyone. Just because it's not mentioned, doesn't mean people are saying asian's aren't effected.

Personally, I'm jealous of asian people. The culture fascinates me, and I find the asian appearance gorgeous. I'd kill to be anything other than white, and to come from a more interesting culture, but I don't, so that's that.
