You have a very equal mind of the world. I like your views, I agree with them sincerely. I was never one for Adam Lambert's singing, but I adored because he was so comfortable with being gay. Same with Miley Cyrus. I love Miley as a person, she's an angel and very sweet, but I can't stand her music. I hate her singing. I believe that everyone is equal, no matter what. Every person on this planet, under any circumstances, are always and forever equal. This means no one is worthless, yet no one is better. There's no better or worse, only judgement. That's a fact that helps me a lot, because some very hateful people called me worthless. But I wasn't the one who made up the rule. I don't want to rant, so I suppose I'll make my own journal.

...I just hate Adam Lambert because his singing burns my ears, but I will still defend him if someone hates him just for being gay.
He can sing crappy all he wants and I don't care what people say about that.
It's when people hate him for the way he lives and the way he was born that bugs me.
I will defend him to the end if someone hates him just for being gay.

I know people are going to be that way. We were programmed to judge. There's really no way around that. But we should try to not be judgmental.

And see, that is your opinion., and you don't hate Adam solely on the fact that he's gay. You heard his voice and decided you didn't like him. And that is what should happen.

Of course not everyone likes Michael Jackson. But there are some people who do, and you should respect their opinion. Just like people should respect people who like Harry Potter even if they personally don't. And vice versa.

People are always going to be that way. Biases and prejuidices are a part of human nature. It sucks, but it's true. I, personally, cannot stand Adam Lambert. I don't care if he's gay; his voice irritates me and he's too over the top. Technically, a person's amazing talent is a matter of opinion. I didn't like Michael Jackson's music, either. So it's not 100% correct to say "you should still have respect for their talent" because there are going to be people who don't think that particular person is talented.

And my father is such a hypocrite for not liking Adam. I mean, he likes that guy from REM and he's gay. It's pretty hypocritical to totally overlook one person being gay, especially since he never gave Adam a chance.
It's okay you don't like Harry Potter. You gave it a chance and decided you didn't like it. And that, essentially, is all I want people to do.

With Adam Lambert that was the sad truth that a lot of people didn't like him because he was homosexual.

Like my mother she's not a huge fan of homosexuality but she heard Adam before she found out he was gay and thought he was amazing, she still thinks he's amazing though so I appreciate her for that.

Even though I don't like Harry Potter (I read it, I just...don't like it for some reason) I still agree with you 100%
