This is so true. I definitely agree. We should all do what we want. I used to follow in my sister's footsteps and try to meet my dad's expectations. But about a year ago I realized it's not what I wanted. I wanted to be different, be myself. I'm pretty sure everyone just wants to be who they are. And if they read this journal, I'm sure they will come to realize it.

Yes, I agree with you completely.
We should do what we know we should do. The only problem is, most people do not.
That is one thing I detest in this society. People put way too much pressure on other people! Whether they mean to or they do it unconciously, it is always done.
That pressure that is put onto everybody is what, I think, leads to some of the suicides in our nation.

and i'm serious, i don't say this often, but this is so true

Your message is filled with honesty and I think that means quite a lot in this day and age. However, praise and kowtowing never makes one a good writer, so I would like to suggest that you proofread your writings in the future, because no matter how much we'd like to deny it, spelling and grammar do play a factor in the quality of a piece. Does it take away from the good intention? No, but it does from what is transfered from writer to reader, and I believe that with a message as honest and important as yours, that that is key.

I'm sorry if that's not what you expected, but I try to keep myself honest by telling the truth of what I believe.

Wow, that is so true. You really understand people, don't you? I have to say though, I'm one of those people who bad mouths everyone in thier mind. Cause I can't say it to their face, cause they won't like me, but...I don't know. Anyway it's 100% true for a lot of people and it's really good!

Wow. This is really thought out dear and very true indeed. I could name many people (including myself) that this applies to. Feelings are inevitable, like I cannot change my feelings towards an ex boyfriend for being the most horrible jerk on the face of the planet, but I still loved him; it lasted over four years.
Anyway, I'm glad someone tells the truth.

This is such a true and honest journal :)
I hope that it inspires a lot of people and moves them because I think what you wrote (at the bottom) is how people should think. I've adopted that kind of attitutde over a long time and it was really hard, but it gives you such a great feeling inside... if you get what I mean. Hah. Well, good job! It was very inspiring.

I found alot of truth in this journal and I find that I as well as many can relate. When you write you really express yourself...you dont sensor anything and its a wonderful quality keep up the good writing =)
