Your friend was wrong not to have told you he was married. In the future, maybe you should ask about any relationships. Even if you think they don't have anything going on, well, we all know what happens when we assume.

Also, people are capable of finding love early and marrying young. My brother, 22, is in love with his wife of almost one year, and I can see it in his eyes when he looks at her. It's a rather normal thing.
