You seem like a very good friend, and she's lucky to have you by her side.
I wish you both all the best.

Also, if you need someone to talk to about this, I'll be here.
I know what your going through.
(My mom's best friend was like my 2nd mom. We were super close)
I'll try to give you the best advice I can, for you and your friend.
And again, I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

All you can do is be the best friend you can possibly be to her. That'll be more than enough to help her because that's what she needs.

My mom's best friend had a brain tumor, and my mom was there for her. She was even there for her in the hospital, during their last moment together. And that, was definitely enough for her. Having her best friend with her.

Ignore the people that get angry. They don't understand how it feels having a brain tumor/being close to someone with a brain tumor.

They get mad at me to because on days when she can't go I keep her company and we hang out and watch movies, or rather she naps and I watch the movies.
^ That does not make you powerless. That makes you probably one of the best damn people on this earth, caring for your friend like that.

Your best friend has one great person by her side, and I'm sure she knows it. Stick with her throughout it all.

    I'll be praying for her.
