Lol; When I was eleven, I thought that it was the mail lady's fault that I didn't get my letter, so I blamed it on her. Then, one day, when she was bringing the mail, I waited outside for her. She came up and started handing me the letters. I looked through them and I didn't see it, so I said, "Where is my Hogwarts Letter?" She looked at me funny and she was like, "What?" So, I told her, "An owl never brought me my Hogwarts letter, so I figured you must have to, since my parents are Muggles. Now, seriously, where is my letter at? I need it so I can send an owl back by July 31 or I can't go!" Then, she gave me the look of death, probably thinking I was joking, and walked away. D: I wasn't joking! D: Stupid lady.
Then, I wanted to prove that I was a witch, so I grabbed a stick from the backyard that looked like a wand, and I did all of the spells that I remembered on my dog. Lucky for the dog, they didn't work. Then, I realized I just need to go to Ollivanders and get a real wand. :D
I got really upset when I didn´t get my letter *tears up*...lol I didn´t cry, but I did get really sad and ended up reading a bunch of books for comfort.
I hated my 11th birthday, mainly 'cos I didn't get my letter (and this girl had her party on my birthday, grrr) I wish Hogwarts was real too... I wouldn't sleep through reality though :) x
