I just found this but I felt like I had to comment cause it actually made me cry.
I've never met the band but just from things I've heard, what you said sounds true. And I really don't want it to be true cause I've stuck up for that band so much over the years when people talk shit about them and complain about how much they've changed. Gerard used to say that the main point of the band was to save kids' lives. I hate to say it, but now it seems like they're only out to get money, just like every other band. Somehow they don't seem so special anymore :[

Apparently Gerard's finding it hard to "cope with the fame" or something. i don't know how true that is but he's supposedly finding it hard to make sense of everything and he's been acting really weird.

I can really only speculate, cos Ive never met them. But I think the fame thing has gone to their heads abit and its not been handled the best way.
Gerard being the person that he is and experiencing things he has, has made him more of a scape goat. Cos he's the one people seem to be blaming for all these changes.

It blows btu I still love the band, and I'll be there whether they piss people off or not cos quiet franky, I care for the music.

I totally agree. Gerard used to be a lot better. I think fame gets to your head, even when you are doing it for the best of kids. If it gets that out of control, you don't deserve to be famous. ((hence, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and all those peroxide blondes.))
It's nice Frank was trying though, I mean, maybe he still does try. There has to be at least one famous person that kids adore, that hasn't gotten the total fame thing stuck in their heads...right?
And what you said in the last paragraph is definatley right.

aww yea, in journals fans are always talking about how nice Frank is when they meet him and how he is the one that actually comes to talk to the fans.
