It depends on the situation for me. If someone broke up with their boyfriend/girlfriend they had for a month and I can tell they really aren't that upset about it, I really don't care. However, if someone's relative is dying/recently dead, that's when I'm supportive.

When I express sympathy to anyone, whether it be on Mibba or for real, I'm being sincere. I wouldn't tell someone I feel bad for them if I didn't mean it. Probably why I don't say it very often. =\

And of course I would be there for someone who's going through a horrible time like that, but the examples I gave where so much more smaller and ridiculous. I'm just so tired of hearing about the /every day/ problems people spill to me in school. u.u

Hmm. For some reason I just care. I don't know why. I get guilty so easily, and I just like helping people. No BS there though. I don't want to sound like some freaking saint or something, 'cause I'm not, I just care about people for some reason...

I get what you mean though. Sometimes it's tiring to constantly hear about other's problems. Especially if it's something stupid, like their boyfriend of 2 days broke up with them. I don't care about that kind of stuff...

Honestly, it depends who you are. If I don't know you, chances are I don't give a shit what your problems are. I care about my friend's problems, but only sometimes. I don't care for their typical high school drama problems that everyone is going through, but it it's something horrible, then yeah, I care. For the most part, though, I don't.

I either care too much or too little and either way, it doesn't seem to matter to people. They still come and complain to me.
