Woah, you have an amazing voice. I wish I could sing like that. :)September 13th, 2009 at 04:54am

yourpinkdiary Well most rock and pop doesn't expand your vocal range. It keeps you at one grungy, low spot that you can sing easily and without too much technique. Like, you don't have to use your soft pallet and breathe from your back. You see most pop and rock singers breathing from their chest. Staying at that constant range, your voice will become comfortable with it and singing at higher notes will be difficult. That's why opera singers don't usually do modern musical theater, which is mostly rock influences. And your voice doesn't fully develop until you're 35, so damaging it now means your done.
Basically, my voice teacher knows when I've been singing something I'm not supposed to because my voice won't hit high notes with as much tone as expected.September 13th, 2009 at 04:48am -
Trash Hologram., I get what you're saying. I used to float around on INO and when I switched over to Mibba, I explored the forums and came across WAYT threads. Now, that's a place to fear... I never really felt welcome in those types of things, so I generally steer clear of forums.September 13th, 2009 at 04:46am

Oh! I forgot to tell you!
You're an aweosme singer.September 13th, 2009 at 04:45am -
I think no matter where you go the 'cliques' are going to happen. People just gravitate towards each other, naturally and online. I just don't pay attention to it, there's no point.
Your singing is really good... if you don't mind me asking what is so different about pop and rock etc that means you can't sing it? Even though some people see me as a 'singer' because I'm on my youth's music team I don't really know that much about singing... especially not from a classical point of view, so I'm curious.September 13th, 2009 at 04:42am -
Awee, you guys are so nice!September 13th, 2009 at 04:39am

Yeah I mean they're nice and helpful and stuff but people on forums.. :twitch:
I can't go to some threads anymore. I feel unwanted there.September 13th, 2009 at 04:35am -
v Ah, those guys.September 13th, 2009 at 04:34am

v I think it's the group that keeps saying 'spread the love' and gave each other positions in a 'family'. It's a very friendly group, by what I've seen.September 13th, 2009 at 04:31am

I don't know who the "Briniviks" are, but yeah, not so much with the cliques. Just groups of friends here and there.September 13th, 2009 at 04:29am

Nah I mean comment this like that.September 13th, 2009 at 04:24am

v. No, the Brinivic was pre-determined...September 13th, 2009 at 04:23am

I thought you guys did that to be funny.
I was scared >_>September 13th, 2009 at 04:22am -
I just realized how douchey it must have looked when we said there were no cliques and all of our usernames matched...
But like Jinxeh said, it's more of a close group of friends thing. We'll talk to other people, we do all the time.September 13th, 2009 at 04:21am -
To be fair, it's all about perspective as well. I'm more than aware that people think that the group of myself, Audrey T., Dancing Caveman, Sardonic Grin, and several others are a clique - but we're not, we're all just good friends, and so of course we tend to pay more attention to one another than everyone else, and we talk to each other more often, too. Maybe that's viewed upon as a "clique" to some people, but if it is...they're really reaching for that one.September 13th, 2009 at 04:16am

I think the Brinivik's are a pretty tightnit Mibba family, or as your saying 'clique'.
So you know, spread the love :]September 13th, 2009 at 04:16am -
Agreed with the people below.
You're also a good singer.September 13th, 2009 at 04:15am -
I see no 'Mibba cliques.'September 13th, 2009 at 04:14am

What "Mibba cliques" are you talking about?
You're a really good singer, by the way. o_oSeptember 13th, 2009 at 04:14am
" I'm a classical singer. Singing pop or rock can damage my voice."
And this is why I'm glad my voice sucks. I do not participate in chorus, or take voice lessons, so I'm free to sing along to all the songs I want. Of course, sometimes I'm offkey and what not, but I'm happy, and usually my family doesn't care, so I'm good.
