I understand many disagree with the terms.

But mind you, I was raised in a house that revolved around another culture.
I rarely called my father "dad" or "daddy" unless I was angry with him.

It's all a personal look at things really.

No matter how u used the terms, everyone should know what u mean. I know exactly what you are dealing with

I kind of disagree with the terms. I've always considered a dad to be closer than a father... Or a better term. Something. I read a quote, I think it went like this:
Anyone can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad.

I grew up without my dad around. I sometimes wish he was around, but in the end I always know it's better he wasn't.

I disagree with the terms, but whatever. I say "father" when I'm mad at my dad.
