Dang. I would have been scared.

One time, this one homeless lady asked me and my friends if we had any spare change, and when we said no (we really didn't!) she said, "Get a job!" then laughed her ass off. It was weird. XD

It's a good idea to remember that a large percentage homeless people do suffer from mental disorders. So it's probably not a good idea to inflame any possible violent situations. Saying that, no-one and I mean no-one should have to deal with harassment like you and your friends did.

You could have called the police and charged him with assault. It was completely unprovoked. We can't really judge him because we don't know his circumstances. He might suffer from alcoholism or various other addictions that could explain his behavior.

Still, I believe you should have reported him. It might actually help clean him up, get him sober or possibly prevent any possible violence that could stem from his behavior.

First off, I love Subway. :D Second of all, that man was probably okay usually, but alcohol is a powerful tool and makes some people into complete dic*s. It saddens me how many people decide to spend money that they could put towards an apartment or something on booze.
