Yeah, I like the twilight series a lot, but I don't go around incorporating it into my lifestyle as much as possible. I mean if it comes to it, I will get into an argument over Twilight or Stefanie Meyer if you "provoke" me, but yeah, I think that the way that all of these people are letting it go to their head is really annoying.
Especially the ad placements like the Burger King commercial, I just think it's pretty lame. I mean, I'm pretty sure that not everyone was doing stuff like this with Harry Potter (or maybe they were...just secretly)
Yeah, those are my thoughts on it though.November 20th, 2009 at 10:23pm -

I'm sorry to say this and I'm not trying to bash you or Twilight
but have you seriously just noticed that Twilight has gone overboard?November 20th, 2009 at 10:17pm -
It probably hs gone overboard. I personally like the twilight books, but I'm not too crazy about it. I do not know one girl who hasnt seen the movie. That is sad. Last year, this girl Kayla was obsessed. She fully believed, without a doubt, that he was Bella. This year, she is convinced she is Bella's sister. She orders all these things online like gloves, hats, jewelry, clothes, that i upposedly Bella's. She pays a lot of money.November 20th, 2009 at 10:17pm
It's sad, no matter how you look at it.
Same for B.
C? I kind of see Burger King commercials as things meant to be so utterly stupid that they make you facepalm. If anything, they made it as a joke...to make fun of fangirls, imo. Er, to make fun of them while also effectively marketing the product.
Somebody on Twitter posted a link to a "Vamp" sex-toy that sparkles, and is cold and meant to imitate vampires for...creepy...creepy people who take it too far.
If anything, that's the only thing that pushed Twilight from just a normal example of a fad...o_O
