The person I was refering to in my journal apparently thought she was hot sh*t for working at Reprise once and met so many bands and are "close friends" with them.
I don't care who you know or talk to, i care about what you contribute to a website.
It really is a shame.

Cactus: Oh, I hate that mentality. Just because you've met a band however many times, that doesn't mean you know them better than anyone else - or even know them at all - and therefore have more authority over the fiction written about them. I've met MSI many times, have hung out with them, and they're even friends of friends - that doesn't mean I know them, or have any claim over them. I've just been lucky on that front. I hate, hate, hate it when people get like that. No matter how many times you meet them, they're still going to see you as a fan, and truth be told they probably don't even remember you afterward. So just chill out and go back to writing about them without the attitude, already.

Same here, when I read a story, i feel as if i know the author in some way.
It's heartbreaking, at least for me.

I hate when that happens. It happened a couple of times to me, it's a horrible feeling when you find that out.

I've not ever seen it around although, there is this one girl who story is full of spam and when I pointed this out, she just said I was jealous of her 'talent' and told me to 'go f myself'... what a great person *rolls eyes*

That's exactly how this person is reacting, oh and because they've met whatever band over 1000 times means that they are kings and queens of them.

The really known Mibbians, like Dru and Andrea are really, really so nice and wouldn't ever be like that towards the others on this site...

Haha, wow. That happens a lot, too. Someone gets popular for writing a bunch of fanfic about two band dudes fucking, usually, and suddenly it's like they're all that, and they're the authority on everything to do with writing, and how dare anyone try to think they're remotely human, etc. It happens, from time to time. Ugh.

Ohshit, I know what you mean, except it happened with a musician I really looked up to. x______x

Same here, I don't see why people want little contact with those that love their stories.

Yes I had that happen to me before. I was reading a story and I just feel in love with it, and I thought I would tell the author or something along those lines, and then I saw who they were and I stopped myself. It really is a sad thing, and I hate it when it happens.

That sucks. You would think people would be willing to talk to their readers. I adore anyone who takes the time out to read my stories, I feel like showering them in hugs.

I actually haven't come across that problem, yet. But I did befriend an author from here, after becoming obsessed with her stories and she's lovely. XD

I'm sorry that the worlds biggest dickhead seem to be crawling all over the internet. It's just one of the things you have to get used I guess. However, there are loads of nice interesting people to bond with over the internet. Just ignore the dickheads they arn't worth your time. :)
