I really want to read about pirates now. You have to write it. :)

And as for your friends making you feel like crap, this might a little mean, but who knows, it might help. Look at your friends flaws instead of focusing so much on your own. It sounds terrible, but when I do something really embarrassing that I can't get over, I find someone else who's doing something else embarrassing and I feel better.

Vampires are lame. And over done. But pirates kick buttocks!

One, pirates are awesome and I vote yes on a story about them.

And two, find new friends or distance yourself from your old ones for a while. Friends should be there for you, not make you feel stupid. That's not a real friend. I know people like that... Unfortunately I'm related to them so I'm stuck. But you can go and make new friends who won't treat you like an idiot every time you open your mouth.
