    v. I would only go off the ideas that it supposedly taught, and not directly from it, even if it would've been used as a really good source. It gives more to creativity that way.

    A lot of DMs I know create their own story, but there are always the campaign guides to go off of. It is difficult, though. Takes a lot of thought.

    Yeah thats what our problem now is we where going to do 3.5 but no one wants to DM.

    I've still not learned everything for Vampires yet there slowly teaching me, the rules my charecter when we where playings only part was trying to find information on the book of nod which doesnt exsits

    Katsumi Vampire: The Masquerade is hard for me to get into. I love corruption and the like as much as the next person, but reading the codex, I just can't get into it. I like the WoD concept, but some of it just seems like it tries too hard to be edgy and different.

    As far as D&D goes, 4.0 is the easiest system to go off of. It's sometimes hard to get a game going. The biggest problems for some of the groups I'd have started with friends were syncing schedules, and just the fact that we couldn't find anyone willing to run.

    v. Yup. It's cost me a lot over the past few months, but this was just the largest sum in one sitting that didn't involve losing a bet. >_>

    Well now thanks to you looks like all I need to be a geek is whats on your list, well and to learn to play D & D, I hear its easy but everytime we try and get a group going we fail, though we've manged to get a few pretty good groups for Vampire, man do I love that game....
