False Illusions: Well, that explains Hannah Montana. Nowadays, Disney certainly has some explaining to do.

I was actually wondering that too because I was born '94 and I remember half of the stuff people have been saying make people '90s kids (not all of it, but a lot).

I don't drink milk anymore even though I was addicted to it when I was around six years old. Now it's Kashi bars I can't live without.

V She was just a villager, but her father had been decorated in a war or something before.

V Fair enough. Nevertheless, in Disneyspeak, 'princess' = 'heroine'.

Aelf: He was a general in the army, or something. Not royalty.

Jinxeh: That's true.. I guess they just classed her as one because she was a female Disney main character.

Jinxeh: I thought she married some prince or royal dude in the end? Or maybe he was just a general? It's been a while.

I kinda get the impression though that with Disney, 'princess' is just analogous to 'heroine'.

I never considered Mulan a Disney princess.
Those are: Ariel, Bella, Aurora, Snow White, and Jasmine.

Courtney Pocahontas is a 90's princess. But she's not really a princess.

I never understood why Mulan is considered a Disney princess, actually. I mean, she totally kicks ass and everything, but she's got nothing to do with royalty. I always found that as weird.

V Oh yeah. Snow White was definitely in, Pocahontas though... I think she was newer.

Spaztastic: Bart Simpson ftw! Modern 'sk8ers' have nothing on their '90s predecessors. Frankly, it's just embarrassing.

I honestly think you're both a 90's and a...whatever you call 2000-2009 kid. You were raised six years in one decade so you can't discard that, but you were also a kid in the 2000's. I consider myself to be one, even being born in 1992.

Whoa. No one says "go marry it" anymore? o.o Well...I do.
Wanna know what's funny? My brother just found out the other day that jean shorts aren't in style anymore. At least for guys. I just found that out, too. My brother was all, "Well back in my day they were." Then he went into a rant about now-a-days skaters. I agree though. 90's skaters were so much cooler.

I was born in 1995, and I don't remember any of my 5 years in the 90's.
    Am I a 90's kid then?
