Hey, did you know Matt from Lizzie McGuire is Stickler or whatever on Cory In The House, my brother pointed it out when we were flipping channels yesterday.
The juniors at my school had to take a fake english TAKS test yesterday. I really hated taking those damn tests.
v I guess you could say TAKS are like the SAT's in a way. TAKS stands for Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skill, so if you don't live in Texas you don't have to take it. It's given by the state to see how much you've learned and stuff like that. You have to take it every year, and if you pass them in 11th grade you don't have to take it in 12th grade.
Also, standardised testing is boring but not really scary for me, just because I tend to be so apathetic towards all things scholarly. However, I do have a funny test experience for y'all. At the end of Year 12 exams everyone in my grade arranged to put our hands up when the clock in the hall struck 2pm, and we all asked to go to the bathroom simultaneously. Guess who was the loser behind that idea?
Oh the Taks... I hate it. When I first moved from Indonesia like two days after we got back from Indonesia was my second day of school and I had to take the writing Taks all jet lagged and completely out of it. The counselor was all like "Oh youll do fine" >:[
I was really into NSYNC and Backstreet Boys too, really sad. I think my worst experience was when I didn't use a number two pencil and failed the whole thing, I got stuck in the dumb kids class for a few months.
