Hun, I have some of the same dreams that you've described. Check out my story, "Death's Kiss Within the Spell of Dreams". It is, with very few exceptions, a true story. You'll like it. I can make you an author, if you think it'll help you cope with your nightmares. It helps me with mine.

It seems to me like this all represents the ghosts of your past. Think about it.
Old houses (that you lived in)
Your friends name
And the hooded figures represent... i dont know. Maybe they represent memories themselves. Maybe as ghosts or angels. (Not in a religous way)
And the place you live in now doesnt have those memories. Now that i think of it, maybe the hooded figures are you.
And the raining blood is bloodshed, a release of a vital part of you. So maybe it means that you need to let go of your past.
The road could mean that you had a life before this and one after it, kind of like immortality or infinate life. Maybe generations.
Im no expert but i wanted to give it a try so that you would have something to go on. =)
