    Aww...that's so sad, the little boy. It's a shame, I'm not from Slovenia, but it's always a shame when traditions fall apart.

    Pust has been fading over the year, I agree.
    I kind of thing this has been happening because people are cheap and they don't want to give kids candy.
    It's a beautiful tradition and it's a waste we're losing it.
    I always open my doors to kids, even if I don't have any candy - I give them donuts or a little money, just so they don't leave empty handed.

    Slovenians don't seem to realize this is one of our traditions, we don't have that many to begin with, and losing more of them means we're actually starting to lose a bit of our identity.
    Like I said, it's a shame.
